This is a high strength explosive for tough rock conditions. It can be used alone or in combination with a less powerful column charge. While it is sensitive to a No. 8 strength detonator in most situations, the use of a cast primer to maximise the effectiveness of the explosive is highly recommended. Label colour code: Green

This is the most powerful of the Kemegel range and can be used in tough conditions and as a base charge. Kemegel 3 must be used in combination with a reliable high-explosive cast primer. It is neither cap nor detonating cord sensitive. Label colour code: Red
