Irish Industrial Explosives Ltd recognises and accepts its obligations to preserve the environment. To this end the company operates a thorough environmental policy.

Environmental Policy

It is the policy of Irish Industrial Explosives Ltd. to conduct its business of manufacturing and distributing explosives in such a manner that its activities minimise or eliminate any potential adverse effects to the environment. An Environmental Management System is maintained to ensure -

1. Compliance with the company's Integrated Pollution Control Licence.
2. Compliance with relevant environmental statutory requirements.
3. Identification and minimisation/elimination of significant environmental impacts.
4. Continual improvement in environmental performance.

The Environmental Policy and the requirements of the Environmental Management System are issued on the authority of the Board of directors and the implementation of this policy is the responsibility of all employees.

Safety Policy

1. The company recognises and accepts its responsibilities as an employer, for the health and safety of its employees and any other person who may be affected by its activities, as far as is reasonably practical.
2. The company will identify, as far as possible, potential hazards and assess the risks to the safety of its employees, with the objective of making the necessary arrangements to provide a safe and healthy environment for its employees.
3. The Managing Director has overall responsibility for the safety and health policy of the company and he will ensure that there are adequate resources to put the policy into effect.
4. The Company will consult with employees through the Safety Representative and by other appropriate means to ensure that the safety and health of its employees is maintained.

Quality Policy

It is the policy of Irish Industrial Explosives Ltd. to supply products to meet agreed specifications and requirements.
All products shall be delivered as requested by customers while meeting all specified standards of conformance to requirements.
A Quality System that meets the requirements of ISO 9002 shall be maintained to ensure product quality.
The Quality Policy and requirements of the Quality System are issued on the authority of the Board of Directors and the implementation of this policy is mandatory on all employees.
