It is free-flowing and consists of a non-caking prill of low density. It is neither No. 8 cap nor Primaflex sensitive and requires initiation by conventional high explosive or strong primer.
Ammogex may be used as a low-cost column charge in large hole diameter bench blasting, and also for the loading of small diameter holes with pneumatic ANFO charging machines.
Ammogex is unsuitable for use in wet holes as it is soluble in water.
Packaging: Strong paper sacks with plastic lining in units of 25 kg.
